Overview

Are you a creative communicator with excellent organisational skills?

Do you have experience designing and delivering both in-person and digital events?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded organisation in the education and technology sector, supporting events that engage and empower young people.

This is a part-time temporary role starting immediately, working 22.5 hours per week. These hours are to be worked in standard business hours, with the requirement to travel to events and be present on site.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Design, plan and deliver sector-leading events across a variety of formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid)
  • Assist with the coordination and booking of presenters and speakers, and maintain speaker records in CRM systems
  • Collaborate on the development of engaging social media content and event materials
  • Ensure a smooth registration process and high-quality attendee experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM and communication records
  • Report regularly on event progress and outcomes, including feedback and key metrics
  • Expand and manage networks of venues, suppliers, and event partners
  • Track event budgets and ensure delivery within allocated spend
  • Assist with physical event set-up, which may involve light lifting (e.g., banners, promotional materials, tech equipment)
