Job Title: Temporary Administrator
Location: Carlisle
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Duration: Week to Week/ Ongoing
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Office Angels is looking for a self‑motivated and meticulous Administrator who is ready to get stuck in and make a real impact as part of our client’s friendly and supportive team based in Carlisle.

About the Role

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing professional, friendly, and efficient support. You will also assist with the day‑to‑day operations of the office, including scheduling surveyor’s diaries and formatting documents with complete accuracy.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the first point of contact for customers and clients, answering any incoming calls in a warm and courteous manner.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the surveyor’s diaries.
  • Manage the shared office inbox by responding to general enquiries and directing messages to the appropriate team members or departments.
  • Oversee document management processes, including proofreading for accuracy and formatting to ensure consistency and compliance with organisational standards.
  • Assist with any general office administration, including digital and paper filing, photocopying and scanning.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with accurate client and customer information.
What You’ll Need
  • Previous experience in an administration role.
  • Top‑notch customer service skills and a penchant for helping others.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with diary management is a plus but not essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Teams.
