Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible delivery drivers in Greater London. You will be the face of Royal Mail in communities, delivering letters and parcels on a route that blends driving and walking.

Roles require a valid UK driving licence, fitness to walk long distances, and flexibility for shift patterns. A driving assessment will be completed on start, with shifts ranging across day, dawn, early, evening, late and night.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive the designated route with required timeframes, completing parts on foot where needed.
• Ensure items reach their destination safely and handle sensitive materials per policy.
