Job summary

Royal Mail is inviting applications for flexible Post Person with Driving roles across Greater London. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels while driving a Royal Mail van and completing parts of your route on foot.

Shifts vary and can include Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Late or Night schedules. A full UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, and you must be able to walk long distances, carry a mailbag, and pass a driving assessment on

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive your delivery area and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure items reach destinations safely.
