Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible delivery drivers (temporary) in Greater London. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels and occasionally walking routes on foot.

Shifts can vary, so you’ll need to be adaptable. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van and may deliver election materials or food items in line with standards; a driving assessment is required when you start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so you’ll need to be flexible and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, come rain or shine.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot as required.
• Pass a driving assessment when you start.
