Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join the team. You will be the face of the service in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot as needed.

A full UK manual driving licence with up to six points is required, and you should be prepared to walk long distances and lift/mail bags up to 16 kg. Shifts vary, offering flexible hours to fit around your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances and handle a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a daily route.
• Drive a Royal Mail van for sections of the route and delivery on foot where needed.
• Provide reliable, friendly service in all weather and ensure items are delivered safely.
