THE EMPLOYER IS: LARNE COMMUNITY CARE CENTRE - GOOD MORNING LARNEThe Good Morning Larne Administrator will provide basic administrative support and assist with delivering befriending calls to older people and vulnerable adults supported by the Good Morning Larne service. The role helps reduce isolation by offering regular contact while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service.This is an entry-level role suitable for someone new to community or voluntary sector work. Full training and support will be provided.This role is subject to Access NI checks.

Responsibilities
  • Complete scheduled phone calls with service users in a respectful, and supportive manner, providing social conversation, reassurance, and regular contact to help reduce loneliness and isolation.
  • Follow agreed call scripts, guidance, and boundaries as set by the service while accurately recording call outcomes, notes, and any concerns raised.
  • Report safeguarding or wellbeing concerns to the Co-ordinator in line with procedures.
  • Carry out basic administrative duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry, maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Answering phone calls, taking messages, and responding to basic enquiries, updating the call logs, attendance records, and simple monitoring information.
  • Assist with preparing standard letters, forms, and information packs.
  • Handle all personal information sensitively and confidentially, following LCCC safeguarding, data protection, and lone-working policies. Maintain professional boundaries at all times and use escalation procedures where concerns arise.
  • Assist with ordering stationery and office supplies and helping to keep the office areas tidy and organised.
  • Attend training, supervision, and team meetings as required.
