Technology Lead Business Analyst
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
£58,137 - £61,197 per year
35 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst who has a passion for seeking out improvements to join the Technology Business Analysis Practice in Worcester. In this role you will work with business colleagues as part of project and product delivery teams. You will be delivering key business analysis activities within complex business change initiatives, as well as providing leadership and mentoring to colleagues within the BA team. Each day will require you to engage your skills in several diverse ways, from requirements elicitation to user experience design through to change adoption. This role is based in Worcester and will include a balance of home and office working (3 days in the office and 2 days from home).

The role of Technology Lead Business Analyst will include:
  • Being a leader within the Business Analysis function, promoting effective cross‑team and practice collaboration and communication, enabling and being responsible for decision making. Providing a holistic viewpoint questioning where necessary to minimise duplication and maximise value from existing investment and ensure alignment to Group strategic goals.
  • Managing, coaching and supporting Business Analyst programme, project or product management teams, planning ways of working and acting as a point of escalation to support delivery.
  • Managing and ensuring the creation of design artefacts and prototypes as required to ensure solutions meet user needs, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the wider implementation of service and product improvements are effective and aligned to the Groups values and goals.
  • Overseeing work delivered by contractors ensuring agreed levels of service are being achieved and delivered enabling business efficiencies in line with Group goals.
  • Managing the recruitment, performance, training and development of quality people to ensure required skilled employees are available to meet the needs of the service.
Skills and experiences:
  • Able to demonstrate possession of a degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification.
  • Comprehensive experience of undertaking a similar role.
  • Proven experience in management capabilities including establishing deadlines and prioritising workloads for self and others.
  • Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential.

  • Role salary is £54,197 with an additional policy allowance of £3,940 per annum (rising to £57,050 with an additional policy allowance of £4,147 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
