Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to join a high-tech organisation delivering managed IT services to established businesses. The role covers technical support, infrastructure maintenance and hands-on work at client sites, with ownership of issues through to resolution.

You'll work across multiple technologies, manage service requests, and monitor environments to ensure business requirements are met.

Qualifications

At least 5 years' experience in a relevant IT role.
Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR standards.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps and cloud services.
Experience with on-site client support and deployments.
Familiar with networking basics (Routers, switches, DHCP/DNS).

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide effective solutions to IT requirements.
Attend customer premises to diagnose faults, repair and perform maintenance.
Manage support cases and service requests via the Service Desk platform.
Keep customers informed throughout the support process and SLA.
Escalate incidents requiring management intervention.
Monitor customer environments to ensure business needs are met.
Install, configure, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
Document tickets and technical records up to date.
Take ownership of urgent incidents, on-site or remotely.
