Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer in the Maidenhead area to join a high-tech organisation delivering managed IT services. The role covers technical support, infrastructure, system maintenance and hands-on work at client sites, with ownership of issues through to resolution.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in IT, be comfortable across multiple technologies, and work across on-site client locations while coordinating with providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant IT role.
• Mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards implementation and configuration.
• Mandatory Microsoft 365 apps and cloud services experience (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Intune, RMM platforms and telephone systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide effective solutions to their IT requirements.
• Attend customer premises to diagnose faults, complete repairs and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Manage support cases and service requests using the Service Desk platform.
• Keep customers informed throughout the support process and adhere to service levels.
• Escalate significant incidents requiring Management intervention.
• Review daily priorities and manage workload to complete actions.
• Monitor customer environments to ensure business requirements are met.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Keep technical records and tickets up to date.
• Take ownership of urgent incidents, remotely or on-site.
