Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to join a high-tech IT services team. The role covers technical support, infrastructure maintenance and hands-on work at client sites.

You will act as a technical contact, diagnose faults on customer premises, manage service requests and ensure SLAs are met with clear communication and timely escalation when needed. A strong multi-technology background is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a relevant IT role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps and cloud services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Intune, RMM platforms and telephony systems.
• Strong network infrastructure knowledge (routers, switches, DHCP/DNS, VLANs).
• Experience coordinating with external partners or service providers.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Group Policy configuration.
• Azure administration and implementation.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac environments.
• Imaging and deployment for customer builds.
• Excellent customer service with clear communication.
• Independent troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Team player able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide solutions to IT requirements.
• Attend customer premises to diagnose faults, perform repairs and maintenance.
• Manage support cases using the Service Desk platform.
• Keep customers informed through the support process per SLAs.
• Escalate significant incidents requiring management intervention.
• Review daily priorities and manage workload to meet actions.
• Monitor customer environments to ensure business requirements are met.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Keep technical records and tickets up to date.
• Own urgent incidents, remote or on-site.
