Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to join a high-tech organisation providing managed IT services to established businesses. You will handle technical support, infrastructure maintenance and hands-on work at client locations, owning issues through resolution.

Key tasks include diagnosing faults on-site, managing service requests, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with external partners.

Qualifications

5+ years in a relevant IT role with hands-on technical support experience.
Familiarity with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide effective IT solutions.
Attend customer premises to diagnose faults, complete repairs and carry out maintenance.
Manage support cases and service requests via the Service Desk platform.
Keep customers informed throughout the support process and escalate when needed.
Review priorities and manage workload to complete actions on time.
Monitor customer environments to ensure business requirements are met.
Install, configure, test, maintain and repair hardware/software.
Maintain up-to-date technical records and documentation.
Take ownership of urgent incidents, remote or on-site.
