Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to deliver hands-on IT services, infrastructure maintenance and strong customer support across client environments. The role covers diagnostics, installations, and ongoing system management with a focus on service excellence and resolving issues efficiently.

You will work across Windows/Microsoft 365, Azure and network gear, ensuring security standards and effective incident handling.

Qualifications

5+ years in a relevant IT role
Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory)
Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Azure

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide effective IT solutions.
Attend customer premises to diagnose faults and perform maintenance.
Manage support cases via the Service Desk platform.
Keep customers informed throughout the support process per service levels.
Escalate significant incidents requiring management intervention.
Review daily priorities and manage workload to complete actions.
Monitor the condition and performance of customer environments to meet business needs.
Carry out installation, configuration, testing, maintenance and repair of hardware and software.
Keep technical records and tickets up to date.
Take ownership of urgent incidents, remote or on-site.
