A leading pharmaceutical CDMO in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for their Holmes Chapel site. This permanent role involves ensuring efficient operation of site infrastructure and managing facilities projects. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of HSE legislation, and project management skills. This position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 to £70,000, 25 days of leave, and numerous benefits including private medical insurance and a pension scheme.
Bespak is looking for an onsite, permanent, Technical Support Engineer on the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £60,000 to £70,000 per annum. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Days 37.5 hours Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5.00pm; Friday 8:30am to 3:45pm

As a Technical Support Engineer you will ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of site infrastructure, building services, and utilities. Combining day-to-day facilities engineering support with capital project delivery, the role is responsible for maintaining operational performance while delivering improvements on time, within budget, and in line with UK regulatory, HSE, and GMP standards.
Working cross-functionally with Facilities, Manufacturing, HSE, and contractors, the role supports business growth and drives continuous improvement across cleanrooms and HVAC, water and process systems, CHP and site utilities, and energy management initiatives. As the function grows, the role will develop into dedicated positions focused on either BAU operations or major project delivery.

Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe‑Manchester Line, proximity to the motorway network and Manchester Airport. The National Parks of the Peak District, Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) are within easy reach. The village has a population of nearly 7,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, and a GP practice.
