Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Technical Service Coordinator to join the Service Administration team in Chesterfield. You will oversee the scheduling and allocation of contracted service work and reactive breakdowns, ensuring efficient resource use and high customer satisfaction.

You will validate jobs, confirm site access and equipment data, and coordinate engineering resources to optimise diary capacity and first-time fixes, while maintaining SLA timelines and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical scheduling or field service coordination.
• Experience in engineering services or related sectors.
• Proficient IT skills including scheduling systems and CRM.
• Strong organisational and planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Validate contracted service jobs prior to scheduling.
• Verify customer details, site access information, and equipment data.
• Route works to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time.
• Balance engineer workload for strong utilisation.
• Issue complete job packs, including RAMS, stock, and access details.
• Communicate schedule updates promptly to relevant parties.
• Respond promptly to urgent breakdowns in line with SLA requirements.
