LOCATION: Chessington / Ewell Area

HOURS: Monday – Thursday: 8am–5pm | Friday: 8am–3:45pm

SALARY: £26,000 – £30,000 p.a. (Depending on Experience)

Our well-established client is looking for a personable, technically minded and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative to join their small, friendly team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an electrical background or strong technical understanding of test and measurement equipment who is also comfortable communicating with customers, guiding them through hardware and software-related queries.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and support to customers, especially those with electrical queries
• Assist with product usage, comparison of testers, and software/firmware troubleshooting
• Use screensharing tools to walk customers through product setups and diagnostics
• Support Distributors and Wholesalers, helping them understand the value and function of products
• Build long-term relationships with customers and offering a professional, solutions-focused service
• Handle product enquiries efficiently via phone, email, or screenshare
• Occasionally travel to customer sites and events across the UK (with some overnight stays)

Requirements:

• Electrical knowledge or experience (ideal for electricians looking to transition to a technical desk-based role)
• Strong IT skills – comfortable using software and supporting remote troubleshooting via screen share
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you’re friendly, clear, and professional
• Previous experience working with Distributors and Wholesalers (a bonus)
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a supportive team setting
• Willingness to travel occasionally and represent the business professionally on the road
