Job description

Redashe, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Industrial Equipment, requires a Technical Sales Representative to work alongside their expanding team.

The role of the Technical Sales Representative is within our Hose Reel Division and offers the right candidate the opportunity for further promotion.

Responsibilities
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Preparing client quotations, and following up with phone calls
  • Demonstrating equipment
  • Offering after-sales support services
  • Administering client accounts and processing orders
  • Analysing cost and profit margins
  • Meeting regular sales targets
  • Completing import and export documents
Technical Requirements
  • Some workshop and assembly experience with basic engineering skills would be useful but not essential.
  • An understanding of industry and threaded fittings.
  • The ability to understand customer requirements and ask insightful, relevant questions — particularly regarding temperature and pressure specifications.
  • Approximately 70% of our products are designed for use with compressed air; however, we also meet demands for applications involving water, jet wash systems, hydraulic fluid, oil, diesel, chemicals, nitrogen, oxygen, and various welding gases. In addition, a significant portion of our business supports the food and beverage industries.
  • A solid understanding of these applications — or the willingness and ability to learn about them — is essential for success in this role.
  • You will need to be familiar with Microsoft Office, Word & Excel.
  • Health and Safety aware.
