Job description

About Us:

One-third of the UK’s working-age population struggles to access affordable credit — and at Amplifi Capital, we’re committed to changing that. Our mission is to improve the nation’s financial health by putting customers at the heart of everything we do. Through our state‑of‑the‑art FinTech ecosystem, we enable ethical lending via credit unions, making fair and accessible credit a reality for everyone in the UK.

Amplifi Capital Limited (ACL) is proud to be one of the top five lenders in the UK’s near‑prime unsecured personal loans market. Our customer‑first approach and innovative solutions have driven remarkable growth — increasing new customer volumes fivefold in just two years. And we’re only getting started. Our two flagship lending products, My Community Finance and Reevo, are designed to meet diverse customer needs while promoting financial inclusion.

As the leading name in the UK credit union market, with the two largest credit unions on our platform, we’re setting new standards for ethical lending. But our ambition goes further: we aim to become the biggest player in the UK personal loan market for the near‑prime segment. By staying customer‑centric and leveraging cutting‑edge technology, Amplifi Capital is redefining what responsible lending looks like — standing out from competitors and leading the way in financial empowerment.

The Role:

At Amplifi, technology is at the heart of what we do – driving smarter decisions, better services, and continuous transformation across the business. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong technical background and a track record of delivering complex projects in consumer lending or financial services. You’ll manage end‑to‑end delivery of technology change, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.

Your first major assignment will be leading a Salesforce transformation project, including an upgrade and roll out of Financial Services Cloud. You’ll ensure successful delivery, integration with existing systems, and alignment with business requirements. Additional projects will involve payment initiatives, automation, customer self‑service improvements, and new product delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of technology projects, from scoping and planning through to deployment and post‑implementation support.
  • Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, high‑quality status reporting, and executive‑level presentations.
  • Manage project budgets, track cost actuals, and support forecasting.
  • Work with senior business stakeholders to capture, document, and prioritise requirements.
  • Partner with the Change Management to ensure alignment across Technology, Compliance, Legal, Credit, CST, and Operations.
  • Manage third‑party vendors, consultants and integration partners.
  • Support technical design discussions and coordinate integration activities.
  • Oversee testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with governance, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and standards.
Immediate Project Focus:
  • Lead a major Salesforce transformation project.
  • Deliver the upgrade and implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing platforms.
  • Improve internal and external customer journeys through enhanced functionality and automation.
  • Support wider initiatives in payments, automation, self‑service, and new product development.
To excel in this role, it’s essential that you have:
  • Proven experience delivering technology projects within consumer lending or broader financial services.
  • Strong technical understanding (APIs, integration patterns, cloud platforms, data flows).
  • Hands‑on experience delivering multi‑vendor or multi‑supplier projects.
  • Proven delivery track record in IT, digital, CRM, or transformation projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex problems.
Desirable:
  • Experience delivering Salesforce CRM projects (Financial Services Cloud a plus).
  • Experience with contact centre, or direct‑to‑customer technology solutions.
  • Degree or equivalent in a technical or computing discipline.
  • Exposure to automation, payment solutions, or customer journey transformation.
Ideal fit:

A technically strong project manager who’s comfortable working across business and technology teams and who thrives in a fast‑paced, growing environment.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Pension
  • Death in Service Provision
