A local council in Crawley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile fiber connectivity project. The role involves managing the fiber delivery, engaging with various stakeholders, and overseeing procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have proven project management experience and an understanding of civil engineering aspects. This fixed-term contract lasts for 18 months, accompanied by a generous employee benefits package.
We are deploying fibre connectivity across the Manor Royal Business Park in Crawley, in partnership with another organisation. This high-profile project sits within the Council and is subject to high levels of scrutiny, so a strong understanding of project governance and confidence in dealing with very senior stakeholders is important. We are looking for a confident and experienced project manager to lead this innovative fibre (FTTP) delivery, including the civil engineering aspects, and to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
This is a fixed term contract for 18 months.
A full and current UK driving licence is not a requirement for the role, but it would be very useful for site visits.
