Technical Program Manager, European Operations
Position Summary
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) owns end-to-end governance for automation and controls programs across multiple mission-critical data center projects. The TPM ensures alignment between design, delivery, commissioning, cost, schedule, and client expectations across complex multi-phase deployments.
Key Responsibilities – Program Delivery & Governance
- Lead full-lifecycle program governance for automation scope across multiple sites.
- Create, maintain, and control Integrated Master Schedules for multi-site programs.
- Manage budgets, cost forecasts, financial reporting, and commercial controls.
- Run risk, issue, and dependency management across all project phases.
- Chair program-level meetings, steering committees, and reporting forums.
- Ensure cohesive alignment across design, delivery, commissioning, and service teams.
Key Responsibilities – Stakeholder & Client Leadership
- Act as primary client interface for program-level communication and reporting.
- Ensure transparency of progress, risks, and technical dependencies.
- Coordinate across internal leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and engineering teams.
- Oversee program-level change control and commercial alignment.
Key Responsibilities – Technical & Delivery Integration
- Align technical milestones (design, QA, FAT/SAT, commissioning) with project schedule.
- Ensure engineering and site teams meet program requirements and deadlines.
- Support quality gates, readiness checks, and commissioning verification.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years leading automation, controls, or system integration projects in mission-critical environments.
- Strong expertise in BMS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networking, and MEP integration.
- Proven capability managing large multi-phase or multi-campus programs.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, or similar certification.
- Experience with hyperscale data center programs.
