Job description

As part of this investment we are excited to be recruiting for an experienced hands‑on Technical Production Lead to drive productivity and process efficiency across our filling team.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will use your previous production experience ideally gained within an automated environment to guide and coach filling team operatives to meet daily production objectives. Responsible for daily allocation of tasks monitoring individual and team progress against the daily production plan and implementing corrective actions where needed your expertise will minimise downtime and achieve daily weekly and monthly production targets. Your automated production knowledge combined with a hands‑on approach will enable you to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot breakdowns in real‑time escalating to the Production Supervisor as appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and allocate tasks within the filling area to meet production objectives
  • Motivate coach and train filling operatives in production best practice providing clear‑sighted performance feedback as part of the coaching process
  • In real‑time troubleshoot equipment breakdowns suggesting and implementing corrective actions and know when to elevate to the Production Supervisor
  • Complete documentation including logbooks maintenance cleaning records batch production control records and risk assessments
  • Take ownership of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) and 5s visual management standards within designated area
  • Identify and complete lean six sigma improvement projects as required
  • Cover for Technical Team Leaders across other areas of production in line with business needs
