Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Birmingham is seeking a Technical Drawer / Graphic Designer to produce high-volume, print-ready artwork for an established manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufactured signage industry and expertise in graphic design software such as CorelDRAW and SignLab. This temporary to permanent position offers a competitive hourly rate, with a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.

Technical Drawer / Graphic Designer

Birmingham | Manufacturing Environment

Temp to Perm Opportunity

The Best Connection Birmingham is currently recruiting for a Technical Drawer / Graphic Designer on behalf of an established manufacturing company based in Birmingham. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate following a successful interview.

You will be working within a factory-based production environment, creating print-ready artwork on an industrial scale. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the manufactured signage industry and strong technical graphic design skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Working from retail and technical drawings
• Producing high-volume, print-ready artwork
• Using specialist drawing and design software
• Preparing files for large format printing
• Collaborating with production teams to meet deadlines

Candidate Requirements

• Background in the manufactured signage industry (essential)
• Proven experience using CorelDRAW and/or SignLab
• Strong computer literacy and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Please note: This role is heavily focused on graphic design. Experience producing artwork using CorelDRAW/SignLab is essential.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 08:30 - 17:00

Pay Rate

• £12.21 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
