Job summary

A leading FMCG Manufacturer is seeking a Technical Coordinator to support the Technical Manager in ensuring food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance, reviewing records, and managing audits. The ideal candidate has experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing and knowledge of HACCP and GMP. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential. This role is based in Royal Leamington Spa and is open only to UK residents.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a technical or quality role within fresh produce or food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor food safety, hygiene, and compliance across the site.
  • Review production, quality, and hygiene records.
  • Check staff compliance with hygiene rules and procedures.
  • Manage sampling schedules and take product/environmental samples.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and customer complaints.
  • Promote technical and quality process improvements.

A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant / Quality Technologist to join a forward thinking and growing business. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant will be a hands‑on role to support the Technical Manager in maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across site operations.

Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant / Quality Technologist responsibilities
  • Daily checks across site to monitor food safety, hygiene, and compliance.
  • Collect and review production, quality, and hygiene records.
  • Check staff compliance with food safety practices, hygiene rules, PPE, and site procedures.
  • Assist with taking product and environmental samples and manage the sampling schedule.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and customer complaints.
  • Support traceability exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement in technical and quality processes

This Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant will ideally be someone with experience in a technical or quality role within fresh produce or food manufacturing and a knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.

This role will require a strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Experience in HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, Food Safety, QA Technician, Compliance, Audits, Red Tractor will all be deemed advantageous.
