Technical Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Lead to oversee our facilities' readiness for BRC accreditation and manage our Quality Management System. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading external audits, data reporting, quality checking, and establishing new testing policies. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards and ensuring continuous improvement in our processes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct daily audits of facilities to ensure BRC accreditation readiness.
  • Update and maintain the Quality Management System to BRC standards.
  • Lead external audits for various certifications including organics, kosher, halal, BRC, and manage client visits.
  • Manage data reporting and address non-conformances.
  • Perform quality checks and spot testing of goods.
  • Develop new testing policies and manage the project implementation of new company initiatives.
  • Provide technical support through client interaction and manage the technical inbox.
  • Conduct supplier approvals and monitoring.
  • Work on the addition of further accreditations and oversee similar processes in Poland.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH qualification.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Law, regulations, codes of practice, and best practices.
  • Ability to produce risk assessments.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to quickly adapt to new responsibilities.
  • Keen attention to detail with a strong understanding of compliance and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication skills across various channels.
