The role

  • Supporting Technical Managers in the coordination and delivery of our Bath Gasworks project.
  • Checking and processing consultant and contractor drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Issuing drawings and construction information using the correct protocols.
  • Liaising with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and statutory authorities to obtain approvals and resolve queries.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Building Regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Preparing and monitoring technical specifications, conveyance plans, and brochure plans.
  • Collaborating with Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Sales teams to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Assisting in the appointment and management of external design consultants.
  • Monitoring consultant design information against project timelines.
  • Supporting the preparation of key documentation for sales, legal, and marketing purposes.
  • Keeping up to date with industry innovation and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

This role will support our Bath Gasworks development as well as the Vastern Road development in Reading, with travel required to both sites.

Experience Required

  • A background in construction, engineering, or architecture with technical expertise in at least one.
  • Practical knowledge of reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction methods, detailing and coordination, with experience on mid- to high-rise projects considered highly desirable.
  • Passion for design and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to bring fresh perspectives and creative solutions.
