Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in supporting our technology transformation journey. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders to bridge the gap between legacy systems and our modern target architecture. This is a hands-on role where you’ll quickly develop a deep understanding of our systems and products, document and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, and help ensure projects run smoothly by removing obstacles and maintaining momentum.

To succeed, you’ll bring at least five years’ experience as a Business Analyst—ideally within financial services and a strong grasp of both technical systems and business processes. You’ll combine analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and attention to detail, thriving in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. Experience working in transformation or system migration projects will be a strong advantage, along with proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Office.

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape, including technical aspects of legacy systems, to facilitate the transition to modern target systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to identify and remove obstacles, ensuring smooth progress in projects.
  • Rapidly acquire knowledge about the systems and the products they support to provide accurate and relevant insights.
  • Document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for engineering activities.
  • Obtain necessary approvals and sign-offs from stakeholders on documented requirements, ensuring alignment and clarity.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of systems and products to address their needs and concerns.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all project documentation and deliverables.
  • Work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines without being distracted by complexity.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Experience / Competences
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the finance sector, with a strong understanding of technical systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate transformation environments, particularly in modernising and migrating from legacy systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand and address technical aspects of legacy systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working with technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using JIRA, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse and document business requirements and technical specifications.
