A leading defence organization in Bolton is seeking a Technical Author to develop and deliver Technical Publications for a diverse portfolio of products across Air, Land, and Sea domains. The ideal candidate has essential technical authoring experience, familiarity with SGML and S1000D tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. A hybrid working model is offered, along with a competitive salary up to £43,000 and additional benefits such as a company bonus and flexible leave.
An opportunity has arisen in the transforming Technical Publications department within MBDA. The purpose of this roles is to analyse, develop and deliver the Technical Publications for a complex portfolio of MBDA’s products across the Air, Land and Sea domains.

Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – such as 2-3 day in the office a week.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
