Technical Engineer - Mechanical / Engineering Projects

Location: UK (with occasional travel)

Job Type: Permanent

A growing engineering business specialising in high-pressure air and gas systems is looking to recruit a Technical Engineer to support the delivery of high-value engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of projects end-to-end
• Producing and reviewing technical documentation to contract requirements
• Acting as the technical point of contact for customers and suppliers
• Participating in and chairing technical review meetings
• Managing technical risks, opportunities, and KPI reporting
• Supporting internal quality audits and continuous improvement
• Providing technical support to the sales team (P&IDs, documentation)
• Occasional travel to customer sites and Europe

About You

• Experience in a technical engineering role (essential)
• Engineering qualification with strong mechanical understanding
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Project)
• Organised, proactive, and able to work as part of a small team
• Eligible for SC Clearance
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport
