Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Technical Architect for an initial 3-month hybrid contract. The role involves managing customer MPN delivery, troubleshooting network connectivity, and producing documentation. Candidates must have strong customer engagement skills and knowledge of network designs. A valid SC Clearance is required. This position offers opportunities to travel between Suffolk and London, and to collaborate with external parties.

Qualifications

• Strong security clearance is preferred due to the nature of the role.

Job description

Our client is looking for a Technical Architect to work on an initial 3‑month contract. This would be a hybrid role with travel to Suffolk and London included. The position is Outside IR35 and an active SC Clearance would be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage/support/technical authority for customer MPN Delivery
• Technical lead and participate in the delivery of MPN
• Troubleshoot and remediate network connectivity during testing across environments
• Collaborate with relevant internal/external parties where & when required
• Travel to customer sites for meetings as necessary
• Produce appropriate Migration documentation

Skill set and experience

• Customer engagement and interaction skills
• Ability to generate quality documentation
• Excellent knowledge of delivering network designs, IP‑VPN, Cloud connectivity, Mobile Connectivity Solutions
• Excellent knowledge of LAN & WIFI
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and routing
• General networking, LAN, WAN, MERAKI, WAN‑to‑LAN integration, QoS, and general access and security controls
