£508.77p daily rate - PAYE

£652.82p daily rate – Umbrella

Our government client is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a major government body with the delivery and management of key national security capability.

Working with the customer, engineering and development teams to support the solution.

Maintaining a key business relationship within government and capability ensuring the security of the nation.

Providing key technical inputs and governance

Scope and Objectives
  • Primarily working with a key customer delivering a key national security product.
  • Liaising with stakeholders / customers and interpreting business requirements into technical ones; lead technical customer workshops
  • Support technical teams in delivery of capabilities, providing 4th level technical oversight to customer issues.
  • Maintenance and development of high and low designs for product
  • Impact assessment of functional, capability and security changes
  • Review, analyse and approve project requests to ensure any technology changes or improvements meet Our Government Clients standards and make effective use of standards, principles, tools and patterns;
  • Support CTO Office and organisation governance activities

Constraints :

Candidates submitted for this role must be British nationals, to confirm :

  • They are a British citizen or hold dual nationality, and
  • They have been a resident in the UK for at least two of the last 5 years

Due to the nature of this work Government security clearance if not already held will need to be obtained.

The minimum clearance required for this role is SC.

(Although advantageous, it is not a requirement that an individual already holds Security Clearance.)

Candidates who do not currently hold clearance must be able to obtain the appropriate level of clearance for the role specified. Short-listed candidates will be submitted for vetting procedures before being formally offered the position. This process can take 6-8 weeks.
