Technical Account Manager

This is a new role with a reputable horticulture supplier that's been supporting the industry for over 60 years.

The Role

  • As Technical Account Manager, you'll be the main point of contact for existing customers, working to strengthen and develop these relationships further.
  • You'll provide tailored technical advice and commercial support across the full product range - including growing media, fertilisers, and crop protection products.
  • Your customer base will be across the West Midlands and North West England. You'll spend one day a week in the office, with the rest of your time split between working from home and visiting customers.
  • The aim is to help growers optimise crop performance while supporting growth in revenue and profitability.
  • You'll work closely with the commercial and business development teams, using the CRM system to log activity and ensure clear communication.
  • While most of your time will be focused on account management, there will also be some new business development, as the company continues to expand.

What You'll Need

  • You might be in a customer-facing role already and looking to broaden your portfolio, or you could be a technically qualified grower ready for a new challenge - either way, we'd love to hear from you.
  • BASIS and/or FACTS, along with strong technical knowledge.
  • Training and support will be available for the right person.
  • A full driving licence is essential, and you'll be comfortable travelling and staying away overnight when needed.
