A local government authority is seeking a full-time Team Manager for the Children with Disabilities Team in Warwick. This role involves leading a team of social workers, managing assessments, and collaborating with partner agencies to ensure high-quality support for children and families. The Children with Disabilities Team (CwDT) supports children with complex and profound needs as a result of their disabilities.
The team works with children, families and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for vulnerable children. They undertake Family Help Assessments and work with Children in Need, children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Care. A multi-disciplinary approach is modelled in the team in partnership with universal and mainstream services to support children, young people and their families.

We are recruiting for the role of a Team Manager in our Children with Disabilities Team Assessment Hub covering the county of Warwick. This is a full-time, fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career or try something new. While experience in a disabilities team is not essential, we are looking for candidates with relevant skills, knowledge, and strong transferable skills such as leadership, decision-making, and the ability to support and develop a team. If you have experience in managing complex cases, working collaboratively with partners, and driving good practice, we would love to hear from you.
Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.
