The North Tyneside Council Adult Social Care Community Wellbeing Teams are undergoing a redesign and expansion. A new management structure will feature Team Manager and Assistant Manager roles. This opportunity is ideal for a frontline manager looking to lead a team for the first time, or an experienced manager eager to drive positive change.
You will supervise 2–3 Assistant Managers, supporting their development and ensuring the quality of practice within your team. You will monitor performance against targets and oversee complex safeguarding and court work. Your leadership will be inspiring, supportive, and courageous to challenge the status quo.
The Assessment and Support Planning Team specialises in short‑term proportionate support. The CORE Team focuses on longer‑term collaborative risk management and trauma‑informed practice, while the Review Team supports people with ongoing needs. We will match you to a team based on your skills and knowledge to help you thrive.
Grade 11 – Team Manager: £49,282 – £54,495 per annum
Market supplement: £1,645.46 per annum
Applicants will receive an enhanced DBS disclosure, including a barred‑list check. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) order 1975.
