Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of person-centred care and support your team to uphold those standards in everything they do.
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
- Report changes in residents’ needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience working with older people in residential care.
- Completed or working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent).
- Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
- Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
