Job Title : Team Leader Residential Care Home

Salary : £13 per hour | Hours : 36 hours per week | Shifts : Days only, 12-hour shifts (3 days per week)

Responsible to : Nurse in Charge / Deputy Manager / Registered Manager

We are looking for a caring and motivated Team Leader to support the smooth running of our residential care home. This role offers a step up from Senior Care Assistant, with additional responsibility for leading staff on shift while continuing to provide hands‑on care to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support staff on shift to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care is delivered at all times.
  • Work closely with the nurse in charge to coordinate daily activities and maintain continuity of care.
  • Supervise, support and mentor Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants.
  • Deliver direct care in line with individual care plans, promoting dignity, respect and independence.
  • Monitor Service Users wellbeing and report any concerns or changes promptly.
  • Ensure accurate completion of care records, handovers and incident reports.
