A prominent mental health trust in the UK seeks a Team Leader for their Children's and Young People's Mental Health team. The role involves clinical and operational management, ensuring high-quality care, and leading a multidisciplinary team providing support to youths aged 13-18. Candidates must be registered nurses with significant experience and evidence of leadership development. A UK professional registration is mandatory.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to work at the forefront of innovation in Children\'s and Young People\'s Mental Health and to play an instrumental role in Hertfordshire. The team is a CYPMHS Tier 4 home treatment team (HTT) which offers an alternative to an in-patient admission. The service works with 13-18 year olds and is a multidisciplinary team who provide intensive support within the young persons home. The Team Leader will be responsible for the clinical and operational management of the team and provide leadership to the clinical team, in partnership with the CAMHS senior management, operational manager, consultant psychiatrists and lead clinicians on service planning, developments and evaluation.
The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at band 6 or equivalent. The following skills and experience are required:
