Team Leader - Creative Support Ltd, Morecambe, Lancashire • £14.01 per hour • Permanent • Full time

Do you have the personal commitment, drive and person-centred values to make a difference to the lives of 6 people with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Forensic Backgrounds who can display behaviours which challenge?

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Intensive Support Service in Heysham, working with support from the Unit Business Manager and Registered Service Manager.
  • Promote a culture of responsive, professional, person-centred practice, and Active Support across the service; build relationships based on respect and unconditional positive regard.
  • Collaborate with the Local senior management team, Senior Transforming Care Lead Practitioner and other members of Creative Support's Multi-Disciplinary Complex Care Team and Local Social Services/CCGs.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Caring and compassionate about the people we support.
  • Experience of working in Adult Social Care.
  • At least three years’ experience supporting people with a learning disability and/or autism with complex needs.
  • Highly motivated, dynamic and confident communicator.
  • Confident in working directly with service users and skilled in coaching staff.
  • Good knowledge of Mental Capacity and Best Interests; awareness of the Restraint Reduction Network and commitment to reducing restrictions in people’s lives.
