Foxhole is a small village school for up to 105 children aged between 4 and 11 years old. Our core values, known as The Foxhole Five, are at the heart of all that we do. Our values support us to develop our children as ambitious, curious and confident individuals with a love of life and learning. We pride ourselves on our nurturing environment and offer a safe, happy place where everyone is known and valued, and where differing needs are acknowledged, accepted and met. Our core values help us to live out our Trust Philosophy of ‘work hard, be honest & help others’.
Relationships are one of our core values and we place great emphasis on building positive relationships with everyone within our school and wider community. We are proudly part of the Kernow Learning family, which brings together a number of schools across Cornwall and provides strength and stability to ensure that we offer the very best education to the community we serve.
We are a friendly and welcoming school and work in partnership with our families in a way that places our school at the heart of the local community.
Kernow Learning is a multi‑academy trust of 21 primary schools in Cornwall. We believe that our trust is at the precipice of something great; through a mix of collective synchronicity and autonomy, our schools are working together to provide strength so that they can stretch their offer beyond expectations in their drive for excellence. Our trust is not insular; we embrace collaboration, innovation, and development. Our English Hub supports schools across Cornwall to secure children’s early reading, whilst our Teaching School Hub, as a partner in OneCornwall, provides services to schools across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly in relation to areas such as the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications.
