About the Role
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group SEN support, particularly for pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, communication difficulties, or behavioural challenges.
  • Use your Team Teach training to confidently support pupils with emotional or behavioural regulation.
  • Help students achieve their academic and personal development targets.
  • Assist during break and lunch times to ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment.
Person Specification
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within a school setting.
  • Team Teach trained (essential).
  • Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
  • Confident, patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young learners.
