Job summary

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our pupils in class, individually and in small groups. You will be committed and enthusiastic about helping young people reach their potential. You will be joining an experienced, dedicated SEND team and will work closely with pupils to provide high quality academic intervention and mentoring to support learning and progress. You will be confident, with a talent for inspiring and encouraging others. Ideally you will have a strong academic background, with excellent literacy & numeracy skills (Grade C or above at GCSE or equivalent) in order to be able to offer dedicated and subject‑specific support. Previous experience of working in a school or SEND is advantageous, or alternatively any work supporting young people outside of the classroom.
