Learning Coach – Sandhurst School

Sandhurst School is a caring, inclusive and well-ordered community. We are seeking to appoint an excellent Learning Coach who is enthusiastic about, and ideally has experience of, working with students with special educational needs.

Learning Coaches at Sandhurst School support the education of students with special educational needs. They also provide support and encouragement both in and outside of the classroom. The successful applicant will join our SEND team, managed by the SENDCo. They will work across the school in various departments, providing support for children with special educational needs and working closely with class teachers to ensure these students reach their potential. There will be opportunities to run small group interventions depending on the candidate's previous experience, with training provided to aid with the support of various specific difficulties and disabilities. This provides an excellent steppingstone for those looking to start a career in teaching.

Contract Type: Permanent role, 25 hours per week, term time only (9.00am - 3.00pm)
Grade/Spine: BGJ-SP3
Salary: £14,421.62 per annum including Fringe Allowance
