A leading educational support organization is recruiting Teaching Assistants for Alternative Provisions in Leicester. The role involves providing 1:1 and group support to young people, helping them manage emotions and develop skills to succeed in school. Location: Leicester and Leicestershire
Pay: 100 - 110 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full time, long‑term to permanent
Long Term Futures are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join several Alternative Provisions across Leicester and Leicestershire. These settings support children and young people who have been excluded from, or are unable to access, mainstream education.
Alternative Provisions offer small class sizes, high levels of staff support and a therapeutic, relationship‑based approach. The focus is on helping pupils re‑engage with learning, develop confidence and build the skills they need to make positive progress both in and out of the classroom.
This work is hands‑on, varied and incredibly rewarding for the right person.
