Position: Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Bedford

Contract Term: Full time - Tuesday to Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Salary: £20,508.00 (L4 Point 9 to 14, with a pending pay increase of 3.2%)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor to join our team in Bedford on a permanent, part-time basis. This role will be based across two well-resourced sites and involves working closely with pupils with a range of learning needs.

You will actively support all areas of the curriculum and play a key role in helping our pupils make progress, both academically and socially. Our approach is fun, inclusive, and celebrates every small step of achievement made by our learners.

As a Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to cover classes using provided planning, ensuring continuity of learning in a supportive and structured environment.

Key Requirements of a Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
• Ability to Commute to Bedford
• Leadership and communication skills
• Experience or knowledge of special educational needs is desirable, but full induction and ongoing training are provided
