Talocher School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our Education team. We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable supporting professional who thrives on variety and enjoys being active. Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant you will support the classroom teacher by facilitating learning activities, providing one‑to‑one support to students, and helping to manage classroom behaviour. You will assist with the delivery of a broad curriculum aligned to the Curriculum for Wales (CfW) and contribute to the development of students’ confidence, resilience and communication skills.

Qualifications
  • Right to work in the UK and full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to undergo safeguarding screening, Disclosure & Barring Service checks and provide at least two references covering the last three years
  • Experience or interest in supporting learners with additional learning needs (ASD, ADHD, etc.) is desirable
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
