Job description

Salary: £18,348 per annum (based on working pattern)

Monday to Friday, Term‑time only (8:30am to 3:15pm)

Temporary – linked to student funding.

Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join us at Kenyngton Manor Primary School. You will support teachers with their responsibility for the development and education of children across the school, including pupils with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in delivering and evaluating programmes and adapting teaching materials to suit the needs of individual pupils and groups.
  • Deliver 1‑1 and/or group support/intervention and monitor pupil performance under the direction of senior staff.
  • Provide manual handling support and ensure pupil safety and well‑being.
  • Communicate effectively, using listening skill to meet pupil needs for encouragement, reassurance and comfort.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Evidence of Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment.
  • Will be required to provide Home Office documentation prior to interview.
  • Eligible for a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
