Teacher of Science – Permanent

We are seeking a Teacher of Science for a popular secondary school in Thurrock, Essex. This permanent role has a flexible start date (January 2026, April 2026, or September 2026). ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply. The school is equally keen to hear from experienced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics welcomed.
  • Possibly teach KS5 for those with the appropriate experience.
  • Contribute to ongoing curriculum development, enrichment activities and the promotion of STEM across the school.
  • Utilise the well‑equipped Science department, dedicated laboratory spaces, technician support and practical resources.
Candidate Profile
  • Strong subject knowledge in the science disciplines.
