Teacher of Psychology Salary: £32,916 to £51,048 Range: Main Pay Range or Upper Pay Range Start Date: 1st September 2026 Contract Type: Full Time Contract Term: Permanent Suitable for ECT: Yes Closing Date: 8.00am, Monday 26th January 2026 Interview Date: Friday 30th January 2026 Wilmslow High School School age range: 11-18 Number on roll: approx. 2,000 (including 500 sixth form)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic teacher of Psychology to join our thriving and highly regarded Science Team. Applications are encouraged from both early career or experienced teachers who are committed to teaching at the highest standard and raising the aspirations and achievements of our students. The role will require you to teach Psychology to Key Stage 5 and Science to Key Stage 3. Interview Process & Checks
  • Asked to complete a self‑declaration form answering questions in relation to any criminal record or other information that would make them unsuitable to work with children.
  • Subject to an online search to identify any publicly available incidents or issues that may be relevant for the interview.

  • An enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
  • Pre‑employment checks including references, health, right to work in the UK, DBS and a declaration that neither they nor anyone who lives in the same household is a disqualified person under the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009.
