Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (MFL) – Watford

Interaction Education are really pleased to be supporting a great secondary school in the Watford area in their search for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (MFL) specialising in the delivery of French or Spanish lessons. Someone with both would be amazing!

This is a contract role between January 2026 and the end of the academic year of 2025/2026, in July.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in languages taught.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.
• Promote the use of language beyond the classroom.
• Ensure the safeguarding and well‑being of all students.

Key Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Modern Foreign Languages (or related field).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to teach languages to GCSE and A-Level (if applicable).
• Passionate about languages and cultural diversity.
