Mathematics is an extremely popular subject at the RGS with 80% of those in the Sixth Form taking one or two Mathematics A-levels.

As a Teacher of Mathematics at the RGS, you will be confident teaching our high‑achieving students at GCSE and A-level. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those new to the profession and are happy to consider full‑time or part‑time hours. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates confident teaching Further Mathematics at both GCSE and A-level.

RGS Guildford recently announced its plan to become co‑educational; girls will be welcomed into the RGS with a phased entry starting in September 2027. Further details are available on our website and will be sent when you register your interest on our careers site.

You will have a passion for Mathematics and a desire to share this with pupils from the First Form (Year 7) through to the Sixth Form.
