We are seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Mathematics to work with our students aged between 11-18 years old. If you are an experienced practitioner this is an opportunity to excel in this challenging and rewarding role. The ideal candidate will have the vision, and gravitas to work with young people and contribute to general school life as a teacher.

Responsibilities
  • Successful experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 to students of a range of abilities.
  • Ability to review, evaluate and learn from own classroom practice.
  • Enthusiastic and able to work well as part of a team and as an individual.
  • Ability to quickly establish effective working relationships with a variety of individuals.
  • Ability to work closely with line manager.
  • Ability to identify actions that will lead to positive outcomes.
  • Ability to use ICT in teaching.
  • Good interpersonal and presentational skills.
  • Forward thinking, inspirational, receptive to change and able to work under pressure.
  • Outstanding understanding of Maths teaching and assessing at KS3 to KS5.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of government‑led changes and their impact on Maths courses and exams.
